Supporting The Pantry (Oxford/Lafayette County food bank):

Please donate each Sunday by leaving food items in the Fellowship Hall for transfer to The Pantry.

Needs include oatmeal, grits, self-rising corn meal and self-rising flour, rice and spaghetti (1-lb. pkgs.), canned  foods (evaporated milk, fruit, chicken noodle soup with no or low sodium, canned ravioli, Spaghetti-Os, Beanie Wieners).

Also, checks made payable to Taylor UMC and designated for the Pantry may be placed in the offering plate.

Methodist Children's Homes

From toddlers through seniors, the members of Taylor United Methodist Church faithfully support the work of Methodist Children's Homes. During the offertory each week our little ones use special coffee cans to collect change for the Methodist Children's Homes ( www.mchms.org ) and for children's programming.

Sacred Harp Singing

Sacred Harp Singing takes place annually at Taylor United Methodist Church. The 2015 singing in Taylor UMC's historic sanctuary will be on Saturday, October 10. All are welcome. The schedule for Mississippi singings can be found at

Ultreya meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month with the exception of May, when the group meets on the 3rd Sunday. We do not meet in December.
