Our Church

Taylor United Methodist Church was established in the village of Taylor, Mississippi, near the turn of the twentieth century. The first member was placed on the church register in 1901 and Reverend R. B. Neblett, Taylor UMC's first pastor, began serving the church in 1902.

Our historic and recently restored church structure was built in the early 1920s. In 2006 we added a beautiful new Fellowship Hall to accommodate the activities of our growing congregation.

Our new pastor, Reverend Eddie Willis, has been energetically and lovingly serving our church since December 2014, first as an interim pastor, then, as of January 1, 2015, as our permanent pastor.
